Home EV charging — convenient, fast, and future-proof.
With more Australians switching to electric vehicles, a home EV charger is becoming essential. Charging at home is significantly cheaper than public charging stations, and with a Level 2 charger, you can fully charge overnight. Our licensed electricians handle the complete installation, including any switchboard upgrades needed to support your charger.
Why a Level 2 charger?
A standard household outlet (Level 1) can take 24+ hours to fully charge an EV. A Level 2 charger uses a dedicated 32A circuit to deliver up to 7kW, fully charging most EVs in 6–8 hours — perfect for overnight charging.
We're brand-independent, so we'll supply and fit whichever charger suits you — Tesla, Wallbox, Zappi, Fronius Wattpilot, Ocular and more — or install one you've already bought. Most homes use a single-phase 7kW charger; if you have three-phase power, a three-phase charger can charge even faster.

The complete install, done in-house
An EV charger needs its own dedicated circuit from your switchboard. Most modern boards have the room to add one without a full upgrade — it's usually only older or already-full boards that need upgrading. Either way our service covers the lot: we assess your capacity, run the dedicated circuit, upgrade the switchboard only if it's genuinely needed, and mount and commission the charger.
We also ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000 wiring rules and Western Power requirements, with all necessary paperwork and inspections handled for you.
Pair with solar for maximum savings
If you have a solar PV system, you can charge your EV using free energy from the sun. Smart chargers can be configured to prioritise solar energy, significantly reducing your fuel costs compared to petrol.
We can advise on the best charger for solar integration and ensure your system is configured for optimal energy use, helping you make the most of your solar investment.

Home EV charging — convenient and cost-effective
A dedicated home EV charger is faster and safer than a standard power point, and lets you wake up to a full battery. We supply and install chargers for all major electric vehicles, and advise on the right charger for your car and driving habits.
Will your home support an EV charger?
Most installations need a dedicated circuit, and some homes need a switchboard upgrade to handle the extra load safely. We'll assess your setup and tell you exactly what's required before any work begins — no surprises.
Cost depends on your charger, switchboard, and cable run. Finance options are available. Get a free quote today.
