Split system air conditioning for Riverton homes
Riverton is a mature, leafy suburb in the City of Canning, set on the inland side of the metro area near the Canning River rather than the coast. Because it is well inland, salt-air corrosion is not the concern it is in beachside suburbs, but the suburb's age is. A large share of homes here are original brick-and-tile builds from the 1960s and 70s, many still on switchboards that were never sized for modern reverse-cycle air conditioning. As a dual-licensed air conditioning and electrical contractor, Otter Air can run a new dedicated circuit and upgrade the board in the same visit, so air conditioning Riverton homeowners are not left chasing a separate sparky to finish the job.
The most common request we see in Riverton is cooling the spaces that matter most: a split in the main living area and another in the master bedroom, which suits the single-storey footprint of most older homes here. On renovated and newer double-storey properties around the suburb, we plan multi-head systems and upstairs routing carefully, keeping line runs neat through roof spaces and cavities so condensers sit discreetly outside. Replacing a tired, noisy older unit with an efficient modern inverter is another job we handle regularly.
Every split system installation Riverton property gets the same approach: we assess the switchboard and existing wiring first, size the unit to the room and the home's aspect, and position the outdoor unit for airflow and quiet running. Doing the electrical and the air conditioning under one roof keeps the install tidy, compliant and on schedule.

See all reviews“Excellent Air Conditioning Installation Service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ When looking to install 2 new aircons at my house, I was recommended to use Otter Air & Electrical and I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Matt and his assistant. From the initial enquiry through to the completion of the installation, the entire experience was seamless, professional and efficient. Matt responded promptly to emails, arrived exactly on time as scheduled, highly professional and the whole experience was stress-free. On the quote, he provided a few options with breakdown details of what is included in the price and makes it easier to make the decision. On the day of installation, the process was completed on schedule and I'm very happy with the quality of the work. They took great care to keep the work area clean and tidy throughout the job, and once finished, they thoroughly cleaned up, leaving everything spotless. Thank you very much, Matt and team and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable, professional and efficient aircon company.”
