Split system air conditioning for Spearwood homes
Much of Spearwood's housing is older brick-and-tile on generous, market-garden-era blocks, often still running an original switchboard with little spare capacity. When we quote air conditioning Spearwood homeowners frequently need, the limiting factor isn't the unit on the wall - it's the power feeding it. Because Otter Air is dual-licensed in both refrigeration and electrical, we run a new dedicated circuit, upgrade tired switchboard hardware and mount the head and condenser in one visit, rather than handing you off to a separate sparky. That keeps the job tidy and the warranty clean.
The classic Spearwood request is cooling a master bedroom plus the main living zone, and on the larger older lots we sometimes route longer pipe runs to reach a condenser tucked discreetly down the side. Newer two-storey builds and recent subdivisions are a different brief again - here a multi-head split system installation Spearwood families often prefer lets us condition upstairs bedrooms and a downstairs open-plan area from a single outdoor unit, with cabling concealed through the cavity where the build allows.
Spearwood's Perth summers are hot and dry, with the afternoon sea breeze off the nearby Cockburn coast taking the edge off. We size every unit to the room, orientation and that breeze pattern, and because the ocean isn't far west we'll specify corrosion-resistant mounting and coil protection on more exposed installs so your outdoor unit lasts.

See all reviews“Excellent Air Conditioning Installation Service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ When looking to install 2 new aircons at my house, I was recommended to use Otter Air & Electrical and I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Matt and his assistant. From the initial enquiry through to the completion of the installation, the entire experience was seamless, professional and efficient. Matt responded promptly to emails, arrived exactly on time as scheduled, highly professional and the whole experience was stress-free. On the quote, he provided a few options with breakdown details of what is included in the price and makes it easier to make the decision. On the day of installation, the process was completed on schedule and I'm very happy with the quality of the work. They took great care to keep the work area clean and tidy throughout the job, and once finished, they thoroughly cleaned up, leaving everything spotless. Thank you very much, Matt and team and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable, professional and efficient aircon company.”
