Split system installation in Leeming
Leeming sits well inland in Perth's south-east, an established City of Melville suburb where solid brick-and-tile family homes shoulder the long, dry summer heat with no coastal breeze to soften it. That makes a well-sized split system a genuine comfort upgrade, not a luxury.

Split system air conditioning for Leeming homes
Much of Leeming was built out from the late 1970s through the 1980s and 1990s, so a typical job here is a double-brick-and-tile home on a comfortable block. These houses cool beautifully once a split is in, but the original switchboards often weren't designed with reverse-cycle air conditioning in mind. As a dual-licensed air conditioning and electrical contractor, Otter Air handles the whole scope in-house: if your board needs a new dedicated circuit, a tidy-up, or an RCD upgrade to bring it to standard, we sort it on the same visit rather than sending you off to chase a separate sparky.
Being set back from the coast, Leeming homes don't fight salt-air corrosion the way beachside suburbs do, which means your outdoor condenser tends to last the distance when it's installed and maintained properly. The trade-off is the heat: still, hot inland afternoons make a master-bedroom-plus-living split a hugely popular request, and we often quote on cooling the open-plan kitchen and family zone where everyone actually spends the day.
We also see plenty of the larger two-storey homes that went up in Leeming's newer pockets. These suit a multi-head system, letting us run discreet line sets up to the bedrooms while keeping a single outdoor unit. And for the many original homeowners here, replacing a tired 20-year-old wall unit with a quiet, efficient modern inverter is one of the most common air conditioning Leeming projects we take on. Whatever the layout, we'll size it correctly the first time.

See all reviews“Excellent Air Conditioning Installation Service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ When looking to install 2 new aircons at my house, I was recommended to use Otter Air & Electrical and I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Matt and his assistant. From the initial enquiry through to the completion of the installation, the entire experience was seamless, professional and efficient. Matt responded promptly to emails, arrived exactly on time as scheduled, highly professional and the whole experience was stress-free. On the quote, he provided a few options with breakdown details of what is included in the price and makes it easier to make the decision. On the day of installation, the process was completed on schedule and I'm very happy with the quality of the work. They took great care to keep the work area clean and tidy throughout the job, and once finished, they thoroughly cleaned up, leaving everything spotless. Thank you very much, Matt and team and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable, professional and efficient aircon company.”
